Terms and Conditions

 

Professional Investigator (Michigan) 

Professional Investigators are regulated under Public Act 285 of 1965, as amended ("the Act"). The Act defines a Professional Investigator as a person who accepts employment to conduct investigation business.

"Investigation business" is defined by the Act as a business that accepts employment to make an investigation for the purpose of obtaining information pertaining to the following: crimes or wrongs done or threatened against the United States or any person or other legal entity; the identity, habits, conduct business, occupation, honesty, integrity, credibility, trustworthiness, whereabouts or character of a person; the location or recovery of stolen property; securing evidence to be used in court; the prevention, detection or removal of  devices designed for eavesdropping and/or observation; electronic tracking of an individual or motor vehicle; computer forensics to be used as evidence before a court, board, officer or investigating committee. 

The Crisis Protection Group Detective and Investigation Agency is a licensed, bonded, and insured private investigation agency in the state of Michigan and as such, provides investiagtive services to priavte persons, companies, corporations, and organizations for a fee.  As a private contractor . The client understands and agrees to the following.


If  CLIENT  hires CPG investigation AGENCY to conduct an investigation specifically explained below. CLIENT agrees to pay all fees and  costs hereinafter incurred as a result of this investigation. As such, CLIENT agrees that AGENCY is empowered to  perform said services for and on behalf of CLIENT, and to do all things necessary, appropriate, or advisable in  performing said services for and in the best interests of CLIENT. The parties hereby agree that the following  investigative services have been requested by CLIENT under this Agreement and will be provided by AGENCY, but  that the actual time and manner in which the following investigative services are conducted shall be left to the sole descretion of the agency.


In addition, the Crisis Protection Group Detective and Investigation Agency is not a Law Enforcement Agency and has no power or Police Authority whatsoever and does not provide law enforcement or police services of any kind.
